Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook.
Former President Bill Clinton made a return trip to New Hampshire on Tuesday.
He began by promoting children's fitness at a Manchester school, and went on to a Democratic party fundraiser in Bedford, where he expressed his unqualified support for the NH primary and keeping its first-in-the-nation status.

N1- Dr. Chuck Cappella kicked off the morning event by grabbing the attention of the audience.
Chuck 3:21- tells a joke and then yells - laughter from audience
N2- He got them involved with a skit -- about nutrition and the body.

N3 - Dr. Susan Lynch, Governor John Lynch's wife, stepped on to the stage with a quiz for the children.

N4 - But it was the special guest who stole the show.

N5- Former President Clinton was there to talk about childhood obesity - in a personal way.
Clinton - 5:00/5:25 - talks about when he was 13 and obese/two years ago had chest pains
N6- Following Mr. Clinton's speech, all three speakers took questions from the audience. Most were about the topic of the day.

N9- Following the event, Mr. Clinton met with reporters. He was asked about the importance of NH's "first in the nation" primary status.
Clinton - needs to stay…important to be on the ground here meeting people face to face…produces better presidential candidates…
N10 - Mr. Clinton's day did not end there. Governor Lynch introduced him at a NH Democratic Party fundraising event.

The New Hampshire Citizens' Commission on the Courts presented its report today to the Chief Justice of the state Supreme Court.
The 100 members of the commission have spent the past 14 months collecting public input on ways to improve the justice system.
At a ceremony at the Supreme Court, the 5 current justices met with 20 commission members to talk about the report.
It contains 30 recommendations on all aspects of the court system ranging from customer service to family law.
There was also a minority report signed by about a dozen commission members.

With the report now in the hands of the court, Outlook's Richard Ager sat down with Chief Justice John Broderick to talk about the commission's recommendations.

As its final recommendation, the Citizens' Commission requested that Justice Broderick respond to the report within 6 months, which the Chief Justice has agreed to do.
